Ok, after last weekends dissapointment, Janey and I decided to get our cameras ready and go back to Stockley in the hope of catching the Harris Hawks we missed last time.
We took the usual route through the golf course to get to the lakes, stopping to take a few photos of a pair of Coots. The sun was fairly low on the sky by this point and as it was directly in front of us, the Coots were a bit of a pig to capture. Still, we managed to get a few shots off before we continued our walk through the park.

Missed Oppourtunities
Ever missed a perfect photo opportunity because you left your camera at home?
On Sunday afternoon, my girlfriend, Janey, and I decided it would be nice to take a quick wander around Stockley Park. We've been there on many occasions over the past year or so, usually ending up taking hundreds of photos of ducks and geese. This time though, we decided that the light was not conducive to photography so we left the D80's at home. We did consider taking our compact cameras along just in case, but even these were left at home in the end. read more...
